Harley Spiller, “collector extraordinaire,” keeps popping up in articles about Chinese restaurants, particularly New York ones. That’s because he’s collected over 10,000 Chinese takeout menus and he doesn’t just throw them in a box, he studies them too. He’s decided to try for the Guinness Book of World Records (world’s largest menu collection) so he popped up in the NY Times again. His many other newspaper mentions are gathered up on this page.
